The 2010 Lake Champion Spring Youth Retreat weekend was a huge success.  The theme for the weekend was “Jesus.” Jesus with a period at the end, Jesus only.  The speaker had powerful lessons of scripture and it left an unforgettable mark upon our heart.  Let’s read what the young adults had to say about their weekend in their words.

“Lake Champion never ceases to amaze me. This is my third year going and it was just as good as the first. The worship is my favorite part of the trip. You could really feel God’s presence throughout the room as you praised Him. The friendships within our youth group have greatly grown. We all had a lot of fun and was a weekend we’ll never forget. I thank God for giving us these trips, for the friends we make, and for the leaders who make time to help us grow in our walk with Christ.”

“Lake Champion was such a great experience like always. It was tough knowing this was my last year but God has so much more plans and made this trip one to remember. I felt His presence throughout the whole trip and loved every moment… From hanging out with thousands of Christians to worshiping to God alone by the lake. I wouldn’t change a thing about the trip. Nobody is ever really alone because Jesus is always there with us, and even in hard times.  So many great times meeting everyone and just being completely relaxed. This trip was AMAZING!
